Mays Days

What a great month!!! Kaslo May Days was an absolute blast! Great stage, great sound, great crowd and amazing feedback!!! Folks were digging it and dancing, young and old and everything in between. The following band was late due to vehicular problems so we were asked to continue performing once we were done. It was a nice little test to perform some of our less rehearsed numbers and gave the crowd a few covers we don't often play either. The following day, one of the vendors told me we were her favourite act of the weekend and even complimented my vocals 🥹 Melt my heart! Another dashed across the field just to tell me how much they appreciated our music and much more much loved praise was shared from various folks to various group members. The Salmo Farmers Market was slow but fun as well for two sets. We're very much looking forward to a full hour of our favourite most upbeat songs at Castlegar Sunfest next weekend. Kinsmen Park from noon to one before the kids of Supercat Studios. We hope to see you there! We're feeling amazing, let's go!!!

Joe Hill Rossland

What a beautiful night we had at Joe Hill Coffeehouse in Rossland this past Sunday! This event is put on by Rossland Council for Arts and Culture and organized largely by Shelley Ackerman who also snapped these lovely black and white's. The Rossland Miners Hall is a lovely stage to perform on and the audience was amazingly attentive and receptive of all the performances of the evening. We had prepared a mellow, acoustic vibe, Earth Month themed harp set but they had prepared for a little dance party and introduced us as such. They even moved the front tables out of the way as we were getting organized for our performance. We started the set as planned then started including some unrehearsed typical Steve Marc songs into the mix. Some got up and danced, some remained seated and based on the reactions, everyone had a great time!

Happy Dance at Harry's Hall

I’ve never felt better about this band. Our recent performance at Harry’s Hall was one of our best to date, cemented by similar comments and sentiments by the closing band members and audience alike. We had a full dance floor from our second song onward with lot’s of laughs from our new comic content and stage banter. Our next show will be a chiller in a more acoustic vibe and listening setting at Rossland’s Joe Hill Coffeehouse. We look forward to a subtler vibe and different arrangements of our songs featuring the Celtic Harp, played by our lovely backup singer Diemm. While we try not to be too busy and are generally pretty happy with one or two gigs a month, we do have a lot of openings this summer. If you want a high vibing, very danceable and joyous band for your event, please reach out. We love what we do and we do it for you. Send us an email and we’d be happy to discuss some options.
